The Millermatic 252/PowerMIG 256 have just two drive rolls to push a 20kg spool of steel, while ESAB has four drive rolls for superior feeding. The overall construction of the unit is of a tougher build quality. The design shows that the engineering team listened to feedback of welders to add nice touches such as a shelf on top of the welder to store miscellaneous junk, and a window on the side panel so you can see how close to running out of wire you are.
