These Tregaskiss style 403-20-xx contact tips are made from Chrome Zirconium (CuCrZr) at their core which is 2-4x harder than standard Copper (E-Cu) making it significantly more resistant to mechanical wear. The additional silver coating greatly enhances conductivity and increases heat dissipation. That means smoother current flow, easier arc starts, less spatter adhesion, less heat buildup, and slower wear — so the tip lasts longer and gives more consistent welding performance.
