PowerWeld Gold Tungsten

The best non-radioactive alternative to red tungsten for DC TIG welding stainless steel. 

1.5% Lanthanated (EWLa-1.5) provides easy arc starting, improved arc stability and significantly reduced tip erosion rate. Operates well with alternating current or direct current, either polarity. 

Electrodes are 7" (175mm) in length and packaged 10 rods per box. All tungstens have colour coded tips for easy identification, and meet AWSA5.12 specifications. Electrodes are supplied with a smooth, round, bright centerless ground finish.
