Comparing the old Sentinel A50 to the new Sentinel A60:

The viewing area is 40% bigger, the optical clarity rating has been perfected, and the true color technology has been improved. The old touch screen controls looked epic in the showroom, but in reality it was a pain to remove gloves to change settings. With the new controls, you keep the hyper-visibility but have buttons instead of a touch screen. The new shade-lock feature allows the helmet to remain in the dark state, which is perfect for jobs that require a passive lens, or for people that are allergic to auto darkening lenses. The shell and headgear are largely unchanged, which is a good thing. We have yet to have a customer complain about the Halo headgear, and the swag factor of the sentinel is undeniable. Shade levels are now adjustable in 0.5 increments for fine tuning, meaning you could have a shade level 10.5 if you wanted. The shade level in the light state has dropped from DIN 4 to DIN 3 which increases visibility when grinding or reading drawings. The memory is left unchanged; you can't improve perfection!
