Post Weld Cleaning Neutralizing Fluid
CGT-N1 neutralising fluid is used to effectively remove all traces of acidity and white stains from metal surfaces after weld cleaning, polishing or marking and etching process.
Use CGT-N1 neutralising fluid to successfully remove all traces of acidity from metal surfaces after weld cleaning, polishing or marking.
The CGT-N1 is a unique non-dangerous water-based formula that will improve the aesthetics of the surface that was treated with electrochemical Cougartron process.
To avoid white stains appearance on the surface, it is important to use a generous amount of neutralizer after each weld cleaning or marking session.
Best applied via sprayer for even coverage of the treated surface.
Use and application of weld cleaning and neutralizing fluids during weld cleaning process:
- Dip the weld cleaning brush into the weld cleaning fluid
- Clean the weld with circle motion until the desired result
- Wipe away any excess fluid residue from the treated surface
- Apply neutralizing fluid on the cleaned area
- Wipe away with a clean cloth
Important: Never spray/ apply neutralizing fluid on the surface that still has weld cleaning fluid residue to prevent the appearance of white stains. Always use clean cloth for wiping away the neutralizing fluid.
Using CGT-N1 does not guarantee complete removal of white stains on brushed stainless steel surfaces. Use our new WELC3158 – CGT-N5 Neutralizing fluid for the effective neutralization of brushed stainless welds and surfaces.
Note: The Cougartron sprayer is sold separately.
