Some helmets have a green tinge, some a blue tinge, others an orange tinge. With the variable color technology, you can choose the filter color in the dark state. This way no matter which work environment you are in, or what type of job you are doing, you can select the color style that is best suited to your needs. This ADF goes up to shade level DIN 14, which is great if you ever need to weld at high amperages. While in the light state, the lens is at shade level 2.5, which makes initiating an arc simple.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTack Welding Mode:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ADF in the G5-03TW has been optimized to reduce eye strain while tack welding. T\u003cspan\u003eack welding mode uses an intermediate shade 5 light state to help minimize eye strain during tack welding applications.
